Black one-piece Vietnamese produced beret with a hand painted republican youth beercan beret badge. These berets are very difficult to find, this one has a nice silver foil tailors label to a tailor in CHOLON a suburb of Saigon. Page 53 of JT.
USMC HELMET: $250.00
This is an early 60's dated M-1 with a paratrooper liner and chinstrap. This helmet was picked up at a local garage sale and the vet there was in a tactical beach unit in Vietnam. This is what the red squares represent. They are spray painted on helmet and liner.Helmet has dings, some white spray paint and scratches that you would expect from a Vietnam used helmet. First I have seen in 40 years of collecting. This is all the guy had left except for 2 purple hearts which he kept.I am trying to get his name! This is a true original nam used marine helmet.
PRU ADVISOR BERETS: $400.00
Vietnamese made dark blue 3 piece berets with a Viet nade PRU badge. These two berets came together and are named to the advisor. Badged beret has a small spot of mothing and the other has quite a bit of mothing. Still a very rare and desireable beret that is named and researchable.
NAM RIVERINE GROUP: SOLD!
Grouping includes a yellow lined bancroft beret with a rare swift boat operators badge in silver. These badges were only used for those completing 6 months as a boat commander in Vietnam. Grouping also has a way cool zippo lighter with the inscription of the USS DENVER LPD-9. This ship was in Da Nang early on, and was also involved in the evacuation of Vietnamese civilians at the end. Grouping also has a nice naval ribbon bar set and some insignia.

Here is a very nice US made erdl boonie with very strong colors. Hat still has the adjustable chinstrap and is from the Vietnam period.

Nam made very heavy weight green beret which is of three piece constuction. Beret has never been badged and has uncut ties and a nice foil tailors label and size tag. All you need is a LLDB badge and you have a great beret.

Here is a great Vietnamese made tiger boonie hat made up from old tiger material. This hat came from a USMC vet who had a bunch of tigers. His name is stenciled under the short brim.the best thing about this cap is the tailor tag sewn to the lining without going through the top. This is a great cap that deserves a place in a high speed collection. Size is 55.

Solid color sun faded and worn boonie hat with a woven Vietnam arc. This cap retains its original chinstrap which is almost always cut off. this cap is a true Vietnam worn piece with lots of character. Size is 56.

South Vietnamese made red para beret . These were used very early and are quite rare. Still has the original tag with Indochinas Militaria handwriting.
